Below are some answers to common questions about dining with Poogan's Porch. If you wish to get in touch with us, please use the contact form below and we will get back to you shortly. Thank you!

What are your reservation policies?

To make reservations, please visit bit.ly/poogansporchresy. We accept a limited number of walk-ins, but reservations are highly suggested.

Due to the intimate nature and layout of our dining room, we cannot accept groups with more than six guests and will not honor requests to combine separate reservations into one large party. Adjacent seating cannot be guaranteed. For existing reservations, changes to party size or schedule may not be possible.

Please note that we will do our best to accommodate requests for outdoor dining or specific areas of the restaurant, but we cannot offer a guarantee.

If you’re interested in private dining for large groups of 15 or more at Poogan’s Courtyard, our downtown, full-service event venue, we can happily connect you with our sales manager, Stephanie. Please fill out an inquiry form here

How do I change or cancel my reservations?

We will hold your table for 15 minutes. If you need to change or cancel your reservation, click "Change or Cancel Reservation” in your original Resy email confirmation or use the Resy app. While you won't be charged if you need to cancel, we ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice.

Is parking available nearby?

Paid garage parking is available in the Charleston County Public Garage at 85 Queen Street.

Do you allow dogs?

Yes, dogs are welcome to dine alongside you in our outdoor seating areas. Don’t forget to ask a team member how you can purchase a souvenir dog bowl to take home with you!

Do you have a dress code?

We invite our guests to dress up or dress down! At Poogan’s Porch, you are welcome to enjoy your dining experience in casual, comfortable attire.

Do you have gluten-free options available?

Poogan’s Porch is pleased to offer a variety of gluten-free options on our menu. Our online brunch and dinner menus are marked with gluten-free items. We are not a gluten-free restaurant and cannot ensure that cross-contamination will never occur. We have processes in place to minimize cross-contamination, but, as a Southern restaurant, there may be a great deal of gluten in the kitchen and throughout workspaces. If you are allergic or highly sensitive, please advise the person taking your order and know that we will do our best to accommodate and minimize any risk of cross-contamination.

Are you handicap accessible?

Poogan’s Porch was originally a residential Victorian townhouse and our front door is only accessible via stairs. We do offer several tables in our outdoor patio area that are accessible at ground level. Sidewalks near Poogan’s Porch do have curb ramps available.
